Ruth, Esther, and Me: A Celebration of Faith, Friendship, and God's Purpose
Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrated KKCF’s first WCA-IM women’s fellowship with the inspiring theme “Ruth, Esther, and Me.”
It was a wonderful gathering of women from different backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, united by one purpose: to grow closer to God and encourage one another in faith.
The fellowship reminded us that, just like Ruth and Esther, every woman has a unique story written by God. Ruth was a woman of faithful commitment, humility, and devotion. She stepped into an unfamiliar journey, yet God used her obedience to place her in His greater plan of redemption. Her story encourages us to trust God even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
Esther, on the other hand, teaches us about courage, identity, and divine purpose. She was placed in a position of influence “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). Her life reminds us that God has placed each of us where we are today with a purpose—to be a light, to stand for what is right, and to bless others.
Based on the topic “Ruth, Esther, and Me,” the speaker said and made us reflect:
What is God teaching me through my current season?
How can God use my story for His glory?
We were encouraged that no woman walks alone. We are part of God’s family, called to support, inspire, and build one another up.
Like Ruth, we are invited to walk faithfully with God. Like Esther, we are called to embrace our God-given purpose. And like every woman present, we each have a story that God can use for His kingdom.
May this first fellowship be the beginning of many more opportunities where women come together to seek God and encourage one another.
